Pre-Dyno Check List

This list is to ensure that your Dyno session goes as smoothly as possible.
50% of all Dyno sessions are a battle with Murphy's Law!
Your vehicle should not have any of the following problems..
- Your vehicle should not overheat
- It should not be leaking fluids
- Your clutch should not slip, please remember to break your new clutch in!
- Your motor should not be in poor condition, a compression test and/or leak down can be preformed to verify.
- Your motor should not misfire! No old/broken plug wires, old plugs, interference problems etc..
- Your wiring should be in good condition, check the grounds, make sure battery is fully charged, check your alternator charge.
- MAKE SURE THE VEHICLE HAS PLENTY OF FUEL!! Believe it or not we get vehicles with little or no fuel!
- Make sure your fluid levels are were they should be, this includes, engine oil, anti-freeze, transmission fluid, differential/transfer case fluid, brake fluid, hydraulic fluid, etc.
- Please make sure your wheels are tight! The vehicle must be drivable and the driveline, and drive train systems must be in safe and working order. If you have clicking CV joints, please repair prior to your appointment. Be sure to inspect your wheel bearings as well. Your vehicle will see the same stresses on the dyno as it will on the street!
-
NO check engine lights or codes should be present, please have fixed before your Dyno appointment.
**PLEASE REMEMBER THAT DYNO TIME STARTS WHEN YOUR VEHICLE IS DRIVEN ON THE DYNO. OUR GOAL IS TO MAKE THIS TIME AS EFFECTIVE AS POSSIBLE TO THE CUSTOMER. REMEMBER THAT ITS THE TUNERS JOB TO DEVELOP THE TUNE FOR YOUR VEHICLE, NOT FIX EVERYTHING THAT IS WRONG WITH THE VEHICLE. IF WE FIND THAT YOUR VEHICLE IS NOT IN PROPER WORKING ORDER, YOU MAY BE ASKED TO RESCHEDULE YOUR APPOINTMENT UNTIL ALL ISSUES ARE ADDRESSED OR IF THE PROBLEM IS MINOR AND CAN EASILY BE FIXED, WE MAY BE ABLE TO FIX IT DURING NORMAL SHOP HOURS, AT OUR NORMAL LABOR RATE.**
